Hands off, Please
Ava loves her new job. Recently, her supervisor, Keith, has been making her feel very uncomfortable. In spite of her objections, Keith finds ways to get physically close to her, brushing lightly agains her or playfully cornering her in a room. On one occasion, while Ava was dispensing mail in the mailroom, Keith quietly entered the room and snapped her bra strap. Ava was so shocked she didn't respond.
She really needs this job and doesn't want to anger her supervisor. She often laughs off his advances and tells him her boyfriend would not like this. She doesn't have a boyfriend but is hoping Keith might take the hint. She is starting to feel anxiety about going to work and worries about getting trapped along with Keith. She is also hesitant to confront Keith's supervisor for fear of this response. What should Ava do?
The way Keith is acting is weird and inappropriate, so Ava needs to do something about it. Firstly, she needs to calmly tell Keith about how it makes her feel when he does stuff like that. If he doesn't change his ways then she obviously should go to Keith's supervisor. She should not be worried about going to work. She should feel comfortable.
ReplyDeleteAva should just suck it up and tell the supervisors, after all that is what the supervisors are kind of for. Keith is being pretty weird at work and Ava does not like it so Keith really needs to stop. Usually when someone does stuff like that get in trouble for sexual harassment or something like that and Keith should get in trouble. This is a problem that should not be occurring at work.
ReplyDeleteKeith is acting very badly in the workplace. Ava needs to go to someone higher up and tell them about the actions he has been making. They could both get into trouble if someone saw and got the wrong idea. Ava, could just flat out tell Keith that he is making her uncomfortable. This is something that needs to be stopped, and shouldn't be happening in the first place.
ReplyDeletehe needs to have better behavior at work. Ava needs to go to someone with higher power, and tell them about the actions that he is making. They could both get caught, and ruin both of their reputations.They need to stop this before it gets worse.
ReplyDeleteKeith is acting very inappropriate in the work place. She needs to talk to someone about what he is doing. Maybe she could talk to Keith's supervisor. Or she could confront Keith about the issue and be very professional about it.
ReplyDeleteHe needs to have a better attitude when he works. Ava needs to tell the manager abiut the actions he does. He could get caught and fired and unemployed. They need to stop
