The Case of the Illegal Puppy Dog
You're walking through the residence hall when you hear what sounds like a puppy yapping in one of the rooms . After knocking on the door, it turns out your friend Lilliana has an adorable puppy in the room . She informs you that the puppy belongs to her grandfather who is currently in the hospital and because the puppy can't be home alone, Lilliana chose to bring the puppy to the residence hall . She insists that the puppy will be gone tomorrow morning and goes on to explain the amount of stress she's under because of her grandfather's sickness . Lilliana knows you're a student leader and pleads with you not to tell anyone about the puppy . You like Lilliana and miss playing with puppies, so you tell her it's no big deal and play with the puppy for a few minutes .
About a week later, you overhear one of the students on Lilliana's floor complaining about a fine they got for cleaning expenses . Apparently, "Some chick brought a dog into the lobby and it crapped all over the place . Because she didn't have the guts to come forward, everyone has to split the cost of cleaning up the mess . This is so stupid!"
> What would you do?
I would talk to Lilliana, and tell her that since she lied to me she has to take the puppy to the vet where they can watch the puppy. Also I would tell her that she has to confess that it was her puppy and take care of the cleaning costs. She was responsible.
ReplyDeleteI would tell Lilliana to either learn to take care of the dog better and show more responsibility, or it would probably have to go. As much as I like puppies the rules do not allow pets. Unless she could talk to some administrators about the circumstances, but she needs to take more responsibility.
ReplyDeletei would tell her to try and find a safe place that the dog could be like with family or a friends house. no mateer how i miss playing with puppies i wouldnt want people the have to pay fines because she cant clean up after the dog.
ReplyDeleteI would probably go and talk to Lilliana and tell her that she needs to get rid of the dog or take better care of it. If she would complain that the dog couldn't be alone then I would probably tell her its the dog or both of you. I know that I would miss playing with the puppy but I don't want people have to pay for it.
ReplyDeleteI would tell her, to see if there are any other relatives that would be willing to take the puppy. Though I can understand how she would want to spend time with it, when other people have to pay for the expenses, it has gone to far. It would be sort of hard to tell her, but she needs to find somewhere else for the puppy to stay.
ReplyDeleteI would tell her to take care of her dog and have responsibility. If she got a dog she should know how to take care of her before she got her.
ReplyDeleteI would tell Lillian that it is her dog, and she needs to take responsibility for her dog. Also that she needs to tell the people that it is her dog, and needs to pay for the mess that her dog made.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't clean up after your dogs its gross. So you should do that but also be responsible about your dogs because puppies are adorable.
ReplyDeleteI would tell her that if she wants to have a dog she has to take care of him and if she can't take care off him she should ask for help to a friend or family member.
