Avian Flu Claims 15k Turkeys- An epidemic of avian flu has killed 15 thousand turkeys in Pope County, Minnesota. Only workers who directly handled the bird are in danger of being affected by the disease and four are currently being monitored. In attempts to stop the disease from spreading some birds will be quarantined or euthanized. Minnesota produces the most turkeys out of the United States so people are a little scared.
Daisies Amongst The Snow: A man's wife whom he loved and was married to for 55 years, passed away. Her favorite flower was a daisy. In her memory he got her a bench in her favorite park as a memorial. Every day he would bring her memorial daisy's and sit with her for awhile. Two men noticed and found out what was going on. They then realized they would help out, and clear the snow off the sidewalk in front of it to help the elderly man out.

Everyday he could to memorialize her he would bring her daisy's and sit for a while. One day two men saw him sitting in front of a snow bank. The next day Bud showed up to bring his wife flowers and was shocked when he saw that the path the his wife's bench was cleared. The two men cleared the path for him to help him out.
