  1. Some of the attractions at the state fair on opening day were free admission before noon, which the state fair did attract a lot of people, although it was very hot and humid. The writer of this article attended 4-H exhibits, outdoor exhibits, he attended a cattlemen’s exhibit, and he and his wife also learned how to make state fair cinnamon rolls, which the recipe is included at the end of the article.

Nebraska state governor Dave Heineman declares that Nebraska agriculture’s main enemy is the Environmental Protection Agency. State Ag Director Greg Ibach says EPA has expanded its authority against agriculture on several occasions and hampered with personal privacy, property rights and has attempted to cut the fuel standard. Governor Dave Heineman calls it ridiculous.

  2. Pristine 40,000-year-old mammoth skeleton uncovered in North Texas
A family found a 40,000 year old mammoth skeleton in their backyard. They were very surprise that 90% was completed. They put it in the Perot museum and they were very grateful. The bones showed that it laid on its left side and died. The mammoth was considered to be a woman. The mammoth is due to take its place at the Perot museum some time in September.

  4. Thursday Ag Clip -- sweet and tasty trip to the state fair. The people went to the fair, and it was not a cold day, by any means. They have a bumper corn car thing....The Ag clip that I read was basically about going to the fair, and how you have like 7 days left to attend, and there was not really any other information, besides what rides they have.

  5. I read the ag clip about the state fair and how its almost half way over. The fair has many different treats. My favorite is the lemonade everywhere. I plan to attend atleast two more times and maybe try another one of the many treats there.
